What is the schedule for the Forum?
- The agenda is available here.
Will there be press at the Forum?
- Yes, there will be press at the Forum, as well as a photographer. If a participant or speaker does not wish to be quoted, they should say their comment is off the record. If a participant or speaker does not wish to be recorded or photographed, they should contact PILnet prior to the event.
- Some sessions may be closed doors, meaning no press or cameras will be allowed in the room. These will be noted on the agenda
What is the dress code for the Global Forum?
- The dress code is business for all Forum events. Culturally traditional attire is also appropriate.
What meals will be served during the Global Forum?
- Lunch will be made available on Tuesday for those participating in the professional meetings, Wednesday, and Thursday. Dinner will be served at the PILnet Awards Dinner. Coffee and snacks will be available throughout each day.
- When registering for the Forum, please indicate which days and events you plan to attend and if you have any dietary restrictions.
What is the Forum’s Covid-19 policy?
- We ask that participants take necessary precautions while attending all of the Global Forum events and welcome those who wish to wear a mask. We also ask that, if possible, participants test for Covid-19 prior to traveling to the Forum, though we will not request test results. PILnet will not provide masks or tests.
- In case you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory or other types of communicable diseases, or have been in close contact with people who have been tested positive for Covid-19, please refrain from participating at the Forum events to ensure safety of others.

How much does it cost to register for the PILnet Global Forum?
Early Bird Rates until August 15:
- Large Law Firm Lawyers and Representatives (more than 200 lawyers in all offices): € 1,100
- In-house Counsel / Corporate Representatives / Midsize Law Firm Lawyers (less than 200 lawyers in all offices)/Government Employees: €550
- Solo Practitioners €450
- NGOs / Nonprofits / Academia / Bar Association Staff/Trainee lawyers and Students: €350

What is included in the registration fee?
- Registration fees include all conference materials, participation in Forum sessions, evening receptions, lunches, and refreshments during breaks.
Can I register at the event?
- No, all participants must register prior to the event.
Can I pay for multiple registrants at the same time?
- Yes. When registering each participant, chose to pay via wire transfer. Then transfer the sum of registration fees for all of the participants as one payment, referring to the names of each participant you registered.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
- Refund requests must be made in writing to PILnet at [email protected]. Full refunds will be given for cancellations received by October 27, 2025 less a 15% processing charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after the deadline.
Can I bring someone along with me to the PILnet Global Forum?
- Every participant at the Forum must have their own ticket. If you would like to bring someone with you, please have them register and buy a ticket separately.
What is the Global Convening of Law Firm Pro Bono Professionals?
The Global Convening of Law Firm Pro Bono Professionals takes place Monday, November 10. It is a one-day event for pro bono professionals working within law firms. The convening is organized independently by the Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo), the Australian Community of Pro Bono Lawyers (ACPL), the European Pro Bono Initiative (EPBI), and the UK Collaborative Plan for Pro Bono (UKCP). Therefore, any waivers or discount codes provided for the PILnet Global Forum do not apply for this event. Thank you for understanding.
Can I participate in the 2025 PILnet Global Forum virtually?
- Select sessions will be available virtually. Registration is now closed.
What does a virtual ticket include?
- A virtual ticket will allow you live access to select sessions, along with the ability to ask questions in real time.
I am traveling from a region/country that requires a visa to enter Italy. Can PILnet provide an invitation letter for my application?
- Yes, PILnet can provide a visa invitation letter to any registered participant who has paid the registration fee. Please email [email protected] for more information.
- PILnet is unable to provide any financial support and will not pay any of the costs of your visit to Italy.
- If you need to apply for a visa at your local embassy please also check what additional supporting documents they may need.
