PILnet connects NGOs, nonprofits, and other community-led organizations to volunteer lawyers in PILnet’s global legal network who provide them with free, high-quality legal assistance. Legal support can include practical advising on opperational issues, advocacy, research, and training.

Launched on World Refugee Day 2021, PILnet now brokers legal assistance specifically for organizations, associations, clinics, other entities or legal service providers who support, protect, and find solutions for refugees and other forcibly displaced in connection with the Global Refugee Forum Legal Community Pledge.
Steps to Get Help

- Work with PILnet to prepare your pro bono request
- Get connected with a qualified pro bono lawyer from PILnet’s global network
- Receive free legal assistance for your civil society organization on a discrete legal need or a longer-term public interest project
